Samples of my technical writing.
Among my full-time jobs, I also did "side gigs" writing
articles for magazines part time. When my
employers discovered I have the knack for writing, they would have
me create publications for them. This page shows examples of my
work. As I get permission from my prior employers to republish
my work, I will add to the samples here.

Lessions learned
working with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Server Edition. Summaries
of what I have learned moving my servers from the short-lived
CentOS 8 distribution (not to be confused with CentOS Stream,
the bleeding-edge distribution) to Ubuntu. This is a running
collection of pages, as I continue to learn more and more.

Specification for my next-generation parametric firewall. This
is a draft specification, being prepared before actually writing
the firewall generator in Python. The precursor is more than
20 years old, written when I was the first commercial customer
of DSL in northern Nevada. The next-gen version will incorporate
the ability to handle both IPv4 and IPv6 traffic, isolating LAN
devices with local IPv6 IP addresses from being accessed from the
Internet directly.

My current resume. Several people asked me to include this as
part of my web site.
